I say that not because I agree with what you say, although most of it has merit. I say that because the writing is damned good.

One glance at the photo tells me you're descended from royalty. Actually, two glances, one for the trumpet (Gabriel to Satchelmouth to . . . ) and one for the name in the cap band, "Olympia."

Maybe it's the royal lineage that accounts for your current backsliding affinity for the conservative line.

Science is disruptive enough in a society that is drowning is the thin logic of the market. I do computing all day. Somebody has got to conserve.
