Black Bloggers Association

Ric Landers has got it going on.

His Black Bloggers Association website has only been around a couple months, and I find that I'm using it more and more. I use Yahoo RSS feeds to keep up with all the blogs and syndicated stuff I like to check first, but on the black hand side, Blacklogs is number one.

Cool stuff!

I tried using Xoops, but found it a pain to customize the look. Mambo is slicker, quicker, cleaner, and much easier to develop a unique look with, but it still couldn't give me what I needed. In my case, I didn't have the time to s-l-o-w-l-y learn how to program the database back-end to my original PunditDrome site (which I wrote entirely in PHP without any db back-end). Haz was more familiar with asp.net than LAMP, and his price was right. He built a specialized custom CMS for me, and it seems to be working well for now.

blacklogs.com looks ambitious. Good luck!

Hokey Smoke Scott. What I've been missing, I need to be slapped. George told me he'd been talking me up and I had no idea what was going on over at Punditdrome. Shows where my head is at. Thanks a million. Props soon to come.
