The Hottest
Jet Noise asks an interesting question within an impossible question. The impossible one has to do with the ten best movies of all time. It's been tried. However he also asks about the hottest love scenes. Given that we're talking mainstream stuff, there's a bit we can say within 'reasonable' limits.
Without numbering them here's a sampling.
- Nicolas Cage & Elizabeth Shue: Leaving Las Vegas
- Al Pacino & Ellen Barkin: Sea of Love
- Billy Bob Thornton & Halle Berry: Monster's Ball
- Mickey Rourke & Kim Basinger: 9 1/2 Weeks
- William Hurt & Kathleen Turner: Body Heat
- Allen Payne & Jada Pinkett: Jason's Lyric
That's all I can think of. Not much really.

I'm a big fan of Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas. Too bad it was a double...

'Leaving Lass Vegas' was too depressing IMHO.

How about most humorous. My wife (then girlfriend) and I were watching that horrible film "Body of Evidence" and in a big sex scene between Madona and Willem Dafoe there was one point where you could see, um, ahem, well, his point poking out from under where it supposedly was in. So here were these two moanin' and groanin' and besides the bad acting the visual evidence itself broke the fourth wall. We still laugh about that one.

In the PG-13 category, I nominate Kelly McGillis and Tom Cruise in Top Gun.
