Is It That Easy?

I understand that Iraq has replaced Palestine as the daily dose of death on the news. Five people here, 3 people there, 20 people at once every month or so. It's annoying and distracting to hear it. But this week there seems to have been a number of rather big wigs killed including the governor of Mosul in the usually quiet Northeast.

Allawi has a headache he intends to solve with a Crackdown. Maybe that will work. But it's amazing how fragile the peace is over there. I'm astounded at how easy it appears for 'insurgents' to assassinate political leaders. There has to have been one just about every month.

The violence is real, but it only stops day to day life if you let it. And unfortunetly the Bush admin let it stop day to day life, specifically the spending of the reconstruction.

If I 200 guys I could easily kill as many people in America as are being killed in Iraq, by the insurgents.

How hard is it to place a bomb at a funeral, or at a police station, not at all.

The like the people in south central need to go about their lives day by day just like the people in south central.

He should focus on the everyday criminals not the terrorist because its the everyday criminals that make people feel unsafe.

The fact is I supect as many people got killed in Saddam Iraq it was just done by the government.

Anyway its 2:15 and I am rambing. The peace is fagile. You have 24.99 million people wanting democracy and peace and 10,000 causing trouble.

The majority will win in the end.
