George, Uh, Said It

What does George W Bush have in common with Ronald Reagan? Not enough. Reagan, after all, was the Great Communicator.

I can't recall sweating so much for somebody. He says the right thing and you understand him, but he's like an inarticulate child that only a parent can love.
What are we supposed to do? Yike. After about the 47th time he said 'Freedom' I switched off the radio. Fortunately, there wasn't much else to say. I was just shocked that he couldn't quip with the greatest failure question.

Anyway, I'm glad that's over and it's clear why he doesn't do it that often. Sheesh.

...totally agree...and despite what people say about Clinton, that man COULD speak (and very well).

You have articulated what I have felt for a long time, Bravo! Clinton, off the cuff, comes across as brilliant while Bush gives the impression of being retarded. This from an Aussie conservative who fully supports Bush and his aims in the WOT.

I am no great public speaker myself so I can sympathise, but he needs some help desperately. The worse part is when he is answering questions and starts off with Awwwwwww, instead of just being silent while he considers the question.

As leader of the free world, even we who are non-US citizens have keen interest in everything you do. Hell, I spend 90% of my free time following your politics rather than my own because I am more than happy with our own PM (a conservative).

As you are a Republican and a budding politician, please try to find out what is wrong here.
