Hmm. I see a pattern with your 'toons about white women and interracial relationships. Just thought I'd mention it.

The brunette is a do-gooder, primarily. The blonde is 'fear of falling' representing middle-class angst and ambition. The women talk about each other's relationships in a competitive nagging way, but the brunette basically has more sense and success than the blonde who has been involved with the clown and with the dean campaign.

The interracial thing was a kind of spontaneous go ahead that really had no problems until the gay marriage issue. I expect to make the brunette realize she's out of her depth and she'll go back to the black republican. But he's probably going to be vengeful. We'll see if it survives. Prior to this the brunette was hit on by the iraqi guy but she dissed him.

The black woman hasn't done much. I don't have a plot for her yet.
