Random Enough?
Is the random distribution of clothes, as you put them into the washing machine, random enough to generally insure that the spin cycle won't be imbalanced? Does it matter if you are right handed or left handed? Somebody had to work out that problem.

The Japanese have. They've constructed machines that turns the drum of the machine to put the center of gravity of the clothes at the drum's rotation axis. Thereby the new machines can centrifuge the clothes at high rpms without creating excessive noise. Good for machines used in appartments.

Each machine has a little Architect and Oracle built into it and they do wire-act kung fu on your clothes to make them clean.
Oracle: That's his purpose. To balance the washing machine.
Neo: What's your purpose?
Oracle: To unbalance it.
