I think it's "bomba clot," and it's a derogatory reference to menstrual blood. Rastafarians fear it, won't go near it.

It can mean any bad thing, like a curse as "goddamn", but also a noun like "bastard" ("you bastard!" = "Man, ya bomboclaard!")

It is evident that none of you is from Jamaica. Firstly, the term is "Bombo Claat."
Bombo it is said used to mean "dead man." I was told it was of Ghanian origin, but interestingly it is a Spanish word for some type of drum used in South America. We were a Spanish colony so there may be a connection there.
Bombo has NEVER meant and will NEVER mean vagina!! Vagina is referred to as either: punanny/punny/pumpum/pussy/chocho. Chocho is called chayote elsewhere I believe. The folds on the skin of this fruit/vegetable have some resemblance to vaginal lips, hence the term.
Claat is the Patois pronunciation of "cloth." It has never meant "clot." So get that tampon crap out of your head.
And yes bombo claat, ras claat, pussy claat and blood claat are all bad words. The last one is referring to menstruation.

hey well i actually know what bomba clot means. A bunch of Jamicans came down to the cape last year and lived right next to my friend. So one day we hard them say it so the next time we talked to Leory (one of the Jamicans) we asked wat it meant and its supposed to mean F you.
